Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans change. This policy explains your options when you need to cancel or modify a confirmed booking with BlackBeards Tours & Travel.

Client-Initiated Cancellations

• More than 14 days before the experience: Full refund of any deposit paid, minus a 5% processing fee.
• 7–14 days before the experience: 50% refund of the total booking value.
• 48 hours – 7 days before the experience: 25% refund. Credit toward a future booking may be offered at our discretion.
• Less than 48 hours before the experience: No refund. The full booking amount is forfeited.
• No-show on the day: No refund. No credit.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule a confirmed booking at no charge if you notify us at least 7 days before the experience date, subject to availability. Rescheduling within 7 days of the experience may incur a rescheduling fee of up to 20% of the booking value.

Operator-Initiated Cancellations

If BlackBeards cancels your experience due to operational reasons within our control (e.g., guide unavailability, vehicle failure), you are entitled to a full refund or a rescheduled experience at no extra cost.

If your experience is cancelled due to weather, sea conditions, or other safety-related factors determined by our guides or partners, we will offer a rescheduling option or a full credit. Refunds in weather-cancellation cases are at our discretion and subject to third-party operator policies.

Adventure Activity-Specific Notes

• Scuba diving: If you fail the in-water assessment or medical questionnaire review on the day of the dive, no refund will be issued.
• Skydiving / Paragliding: Wind and weather cancellations are common. We will reschedule at no charge. Refunds for weather cancellations follow the 7-day rule above.
• Bar crawls: Non-refundable within 48 hours of the event. Group bookings of 8+ require 14-day notice for full refund.

How to Cancel

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to agente@blackbeards.travel or via WhatsApp at +1 849.507.3890. The cancellation date is the date your written request is received and acknowledged by us.

Refund Processing

Eligible refunds are processed within 10 business days via the original payment method or an alternative agreed upon in writing.
