By accessing blackbeards.travel or requesting any service from BlackBeards Tours & Travel ("BlackBeards," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any booking request.
BlackBeards Tours & Travel organizes and coordinates tours, adventure experiences, transportation, and travel logistics in the Dominican Republic. We act as an operator and coordinator. Some experiences are provided in partnership with licensed third-party operators and guides who hold all applicable Dominican Republic permits and certifications.
All bookings begin with a quote request submitted through our website or via WhatsApp/email. A booking is only confirmed once we send written confirmation and the agreed deposit or full payment has been received through our designated payment processor. Verbal confirmations do not constitute a binding booking.
All prices quoted are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed in writing. Quoted prices include only the items listed in the written confirmation. Gratuities, personal expenses, and unspecified add-ons are not included.
Participation in adventure activities (scuba diving, paragliding, skydiving, canyoning, etc.) requires participants to be in adequate physical health. By booking, you confirm that you have disclosed all relevant medical conditions. BlackBeards reserves the right to refuse service to any participant whose health or conduct poses a risk to themselves or others, without liability for any resulting losses.
Minimum age requirements vary by activity. Participants under 18 must have written parental or guardian consent. Weight and fitness restrictions may apply to certain activities.
Adventure activities carry inherent risks. BlackBeards Tours & Travel, its employees, guides, and partner operators shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or death arising from participation in any experience where participants have signed a liability waiver or where risk is inherent to the nature of the activity. Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific experience giving rise to the claim.
Certain activities require the completion and signing of a liability waiver prior to participation. No waiver, no participation — this is non-negotiable and non-refundable if waiver is declined on the day.
BlackBeards shall not be liable for cancellations or modifications caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather, natural disasters, government actions, civil unrest, pandemic-related restrictions, or infrastructure failures. In such cases, we will offer a rescheduling option or a credit toward future services.
BlackBeards and its guides may photograph or film activities for promotional use. If you do not consent to being photographed, notify us in writing before the activity. Photos taken by BlackBeards guides remain property of BlackBeards Tours & Travel.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
